The Bachelor!

I've always joked around about applying to be on The Bachelor and everyone has told me I would be great on the show. Now that I finally have some free time, maybe I should really take it seriously. My friend Steph mentioned to me that ABC is again searching for the next Bachelor and Bachelorette. I think I'm ready, but need some help.

First, I need to decide if I should apply for The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. Obviously The Bachelorette would be easier because there would be around twenty guys. It would be really tough to get picked as the main guy in The Bachelor. Second issue is my job status. I glanced over the application, and just like the questionnaire at the doctors office, one of the first questions is your occupation and salary. Hmmmm. This could get tricky because my occupation is retired and my salary is $0.00. Definitely not a good start with the ladies. No woman will pick me with zero income, even if I have Ashton Kutcher like features. It's a know fact females look for money in a guy before anything else. Please don't call me sexist; can't argue with facts.

So I either need to get a job (hahahaha, I just started laughing out loud at Starbucks by that ridiculous statement and now people are looking at me) or I need to spin it to show I make money other ways. This is where I need peoples help. I have attached the link to the application below. Any ideas are welcomed.

But please don't worry, whatever happens the blog will go on! "Hey, I'm Retired at 28!"

  1. Perhaps if you think women look at money first, you're looking at the wrong women!
