Saturday Night Live

It's Saturday night in the city and guess what's on my mind? Nope, not going out around town getting drunk at 3am; save that for the amateurs. I'm getting prepared for the season finale of SNL. I for one love SNL but I can understand how people think its dumb and corny. But no one in their right mind can knock their season finales, they are always strong, especially when Justin Timberlake is hosting. Some people might think JT is just some boy band teeny bopper heartthrob but he is a lot more than that. He is actually really freaking funny and great whenever he shows up for SNL. Everything from "Dick in the Box", to "Mother Fuckers, to "The Barry Gibbs Show" is hilarious. He's hosted in the past but he's the best when he does cameos and he kills it in the digital shorts. Tonight's episode might have been one of the best shows in a while. I think what makes JT so funny is that fact that he makes fun of this teeny bopper appeal and uses that get new fans.

Trust me, I love going out just as much as the next fool in line, but not Saturday nights. Can't fight the crowds anymore in my old age. Save T-Bar from Monday nights and Lavo for Wednesday. (Funny story from last week involving Phil getting called a JAP at Lavo. I don't think I've seen Phil so insulted before in my life.) Anyways save Saturday nights for Words with Friends and SNL. "Hey, I'm Retired at 28!"
